Like a rocket firing into the sky and out of the Earth’s atmosphere, ensuring that it does not immediately succumb to gravity and return to earth. For a rocket to work, there are 2 principal concerns. Reduce friction and carry as much fuel as possible so it has enough power for the required time. If either of these fails to be sufficient, the result is an explosive return to its starting point.
We have all seen the situation where upper management forces a change through. It may get through the first time and the second time, but eventually the energy runs out. And because the friction remains, things return towards how they were.
